Types of Partnership

Partnership Firm Registration Process

• Choose a name for the partnership firm. The name should be unique and meaningful. Make sure that the name is not registered for any other person’s business.
• There should be a written partnership agreement that highlights all the duties, rules, regulations, and responsibilities of each partner, the profit-sharing ratio, and the duration of the partnership.
• Apply for the National Tax Number (NTN) for taxation purposes from the Federal Board of Revenue.
• In Pakistan, Partnership Firms are registered with registrars of firms. Submit the partnership deed/agreement and all required documents to the relevant authorities.
• Registration should be paid according the government regulations.
• After the verification of the documents and paying fees, the registrar issues the registration Certificate for the partnership firm.
