By law, the minimum age to get married is 18 years but according to Christian Law the person under 18 is considered a minor and they would require a consent letter or NOC from parents or guardians to get married.
In Christian MArriages bigamy and polygamy are not allowed so a man can marry only one man or vice versa.

Christians do not marry their first cousin as it is considered incest.
Unlike Muslim Marriage, Christian Marriage is not considered a contract instead it is considered a lifelong commitment between the couple that’s why the divorce rate among Christians is very low as compared to the rate of divorce in Muslim marriages. Therefore, the concept of dowry does not exist in the Christian Marriage.
To protect the bridal gifts, assets, and alimony a prenuptial agreement is made between the couple before marriage. So, the couple would have an amicable separation with their belongings, at the event of separation.
According to section 12 in the Christian Marriage Act of 1872 before a wedding, it is practiced in the routine that in every Sunday Mass, an announcement is made twice before marriage.
In this announcement, the respective churches are mentioned, and the date is mentioned. The announcement also includes their names, occupations, and residence.
After the marriage ceremony is conducted the couple is given a marriage certificate. After that, the couple has to register their marriage by presenting themselves before the minister along with their witnesses, parents, or NOC to solemnize their marriage officially.
