Reasons for Eviction Notice by Landlord

A landlord can give eviction notice to the tenant because of the following reasons.

  • If the tenant didn’t pay rent for specified months.
  • The tenant damaged the property.
  • When tenancy duration is expired.
  • If the tenant has violated the agreement.
  • The property is not being used for the purpose for which it was rented.

Eviction Notice in a Rental Dispute

The Eviction Notice should have the following details.

  • The eviction notice will be effective from the issuance date. So it should mention the date.
  • The eviction notice should mention the reason for eviction.
Filing the Application in Court

All the papers and minimal fees should be submitted to the court to schedule a hearing and send notice to the tenant. Then before the hearing court, you should prepare for the hearing by completing all the documentation like a copy of the eviction notice, a copy of the rental agreement, bank information, etc.
